We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Business Development Trainee in the Electrical Industry. As a Business Development Trainee, you will be responsible for learning and developing into a future Sales & Business Development Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and develop into a future Sales & Business Development Representative.
- Learn and optimize processes from the warehouse operations to sales ownership, including learning about new products and services, and develop market go-to strategies to grow customer base.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Electrical industry and its trends.
- Conduct outbound calls to engage prospects and effectively communicate the benefits of our services.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by efficiently managing leads and opportunities, and diligently follow up with potential clients.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Business Development, Account Management and/or Sales is desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Tenacity, grit, and a dedication to professionalism.
- A student mentality and the drive to succeed and gain new skill sets.
- Approachable and a positive, empathetic demeanor.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
