Electrical Sales Representative Opportunity

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is partnering with a growing distributor of electrical products to find their new Territory Sales Representative for British Columbia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a salesperson with an entrepreneurial spirit who has a background and knowledge of electrical products. Our client supports industrial and commercial construction as well as renewable energy and power transmission contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the territory and drive revenue streams for maximum coverage across select product lines
  • Identify new project opportunities and create awareness for the company's profitability and success on each job
  • Produce monthly sales forecasts and plan to achieve target sales
  • Follow processes and procedures outlined in all phases of the business
  • Drive market share increases annually and attain new channel partners per assigned goals
  • Assess the territory distribution base and determine where we have and need coverage leading to replacing and/or re-engaging existing, and aggressively adding new customers
Requirements
  • Skilled in consultative selling techniques, needs analysis, and strategic planning
  • Background/knowledge of electrical products and solutions (e.g. Red Seal Electrician, C Tech)
  • Success selling electrical products and solutions to contractors or adjacent experience
  • Proven success in managing a large territory and growing an existing book of business
  • Self-motivated and drive to succeed, with ability to work out of a home office and travel 30 to 40%
  • Computer skills with Word, Excel, and valid driver's license and passport
