Administrative Assistant/ Cooperative Education

This is an entry-level position where the successful candidate will work closely with existing associates and portfolio managers to support their daily activities. The role offers the opportunity to gain extensive experience in both the Canadian and U.S. wealth management industries, including client servicing, account opening, financial planning assistance, portfolio management support, and handling day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be adaptable to changing needs and priorities. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the Wealth Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Manage schedules, including coordinating meetings and appointments.
• Handle emails and correspondence, including managing the lead advisor's email inbox and responding to emails as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule conference calls and video meetings.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as drafting documents and presentations, conducting research, and managing projects.
• Participate in Business Development activities such as researching potential clients and creating targeted marketing campaigns.
• Help with account openings performed by other staff members.
• Capability to make client calls for scheduling meetings with advisors.
Requirements:
• Confident in making client servicing calls over the phone.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and social media platforms
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary Range: $18/hr
