Assistant Manager, Customer Service
Location: Winnipeg, MB.

The opportunity
The Assistant Manager, Customer Service oversees the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Team and ensures the highest level of communication between the team and all our internal and external customers. The Assistant Manager, Customer Service leads in a way that is consistent with the company's culture.
The day-to-day
Team Leadership and Development
- Directly supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Customer Service Representatives.
- Coach team members navigate challenges and uncertainties, providing guidance and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive working environment that encourages collaboration, innovation and personal growth.
- Communicate job expectations, supervise and review job contributions. Acknowledge and reward employees.
Relationship Management. Customer service. Engagement.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships including providing ongoing support and encouragement to the customer service team
- Communicate ideas and information effectively while developing trust and confidence with colleagues and team members
- Continuously look for areas to develop and implement improvements to business processes and systems within Customer Service
- Deliver and monitor the overall success of department goals related to customer response times, calls answered, complaints & calls documented
- An ability and comfort authorizing refunds up to $30,000.
- Manage day to day performance, recruitment initiatives, performance reviews, and all coaching activities for team including documentation submission to Human Resources
- Build and encourage the development of the team's skills and capabilities to deliver superior customer service
Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from
- At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising a team
- 3-5 years of previous administration experience.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
- Excellent proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office.

- Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail and proven experience maintaining accurate documentation

- Demonstrated ability to learn on the fly; willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
