As part of the Sonova brand of products and services, we are global leaders in the sale, care, manufacture, and innovation of Hearing Health products.- Take a look at how you can Create Sense with us- The primary responsibilities of the Payroll Manager are to oversee all payroll administration and reporting functions while ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and adherence to company policies and employment standards for all provinces in which we operate. You will manage one Payroll Specialist and work as a team to process a bi-weekly Payroll, reconcile benefits & time off, and contribute to larger-scale compensation processes.- Furthermore, as a part of a growing team, you will be responsible for planning a developing systems, processes, and procedure improvements as we expand our national team.**Reporting Relationship**:

- You will be a key member of the Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. Additionally, you will work closely with the HR Team.**At a high level, you will;**
- Work with the Payroll Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely processing of the biweekly payroll for 600+ hourly and salary employees
- Maintenance of employee data including new hires, termination documentation, and internal staff changes
- Internal staff communication and attendance to incoming employee requests
- Process annual, quarterly, and monthly bonus commissions
- Oversee monthly reporting for Finance; perform ad hoc reporting as requested for Finance, HR, and Sales departments
- Ensure benefit premiums are recorded and reconciled; reporting and resolving discrepancies

**Your Profile**:

- PCP designation with the Canadian Payroll Association
- 5+ years experience in payroll processing and reporting.
- Degree/Diploma in either Human Resources or Finance/Accounting considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel experience required)
- Experience managing a team and working inter-departmentally
- General knowledge of posting debits/credits
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now or ADP software is considered an asset
