We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and hard-working Payroll/Benefits Resources Coordinator for a full-time position in our Head Office in Pickering. You will be part of a dynamic Human Resources team, reporting to the Compensation Supervisor. You will interact with internal employees at varying levels in order to answer inquiries and process payroll in a timely manner. This position will also be responsible for providing backup Reception coverage on a daily basis to relieve receptionist for breaks, lunch, vacations and other time away from Reception.

- **Position Responsibilities**_
- Processing timesheets in UKG software
- Vacation administration
- Terminating & transferring employees
- Processing payroll
- Weekly reporting and billing
- New hire orientation
- Benefits Administration
- Archiving/filing; and
- Other Human Resources duties as required/assigned.
- **Reception Back-up**_
- Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls
- Providing information and taking messages
- Courier packages
- Sorting mail
- Other Reception duties as required/assigned.
- **Scheduling**_
- Full-time
- Flex-Hours Monday to Friday
- **Required Skills and Experience**_
- Payroll and HRIS Software
- Experience reviewing and processing Clock In/Out data for accuracy
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Strong technical adaptation and ability to problem solve with software
- PCP Designation an asset
- Construction Industry payroll processing an asset
- Experience with union reporting an asset
- UKG software knowledge an asset
- Personable and friendly with the ability to handle conflict management
- Self-starter, mínimal supervision
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure; and
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
