**About us**
We are a small team of financial advisors with over 30 years of industry experience. We specialize in life insurance, group insurance, various individual health & dental insurance, and investments including registered and non-registered accounts (primarily segregated funds and mutual funds).
**Role Description**
This is a full-time on-site role for an Administrative Assistant located in Vaughan, ON. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to two financial advisors in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Handle client servicing tasks (e.g. respond to client inquiries, send out premium reminders, prepare & submit paperwork for policy changes, follow up on pending items, etc)
- Check external inboxes for correspondences from insurance providers and save them to client files
- Maintain and update client records and digital document filing system on a regular and timely basis
- Support other team members as needed
**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be a team player
- Fluent in English
- Comfortable working in a shared office setting
- Experience and competency in handling customer service requests independently in an administrative role preferred
**Education**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
