Jack Nathan Functional Health, the medical operations division of Jack Nathan Health® is a growing health care organization with multiple clinics across Ontario, Alberta, and B.C. We are actively recruiting a Regional Manager, with a background in multi-unit management and physician relations, to join our thriving team. **FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Proficient in the day-to-day operations of the medical clinics including, but not limited to; client services, billing, scheduling, end of day reconciliation and reporting, accounts payable, etc.
2. Understands the inner workings of physician and multi-unit management.
3. Utilizes their vast knowledge of OHIP to guide the medical team through the system when needed, advise on OHIP related issues or concerns.
4. Has a background in the usage of EMR’s, medical billings, Health Canada and Ontario Public Health standards, and the ESA.
5. Regularly reviews daily, weekly, monthly metrics and uses data to make strategic business choices to the benefit of each clinic.
6. Develops a quarterly and annual business strategy that specific for each clinic individual needs while aligned with the over goal for all clinics within the network.
7. Analyzes and monitors Key Performance Indicators (schedule fill rates, clinic profits, expenses, retention, etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, deficiencies; creates action plans to positively impact sales and profit.
8. Work “hands-on” in clinics to train and coach the medical admin team, identify business needs, and aid in the execution of business development plans.
9. Resolves (patient) concerns promptly when they are escalated to them; keeping Service Obsessed culture at the forefront, shares best practices regarding(patient)retention and service with other clinics/managers to ensure consistency across all locations; puts the (patient)first, models service and care standards at all times.
10. Works independently and proactively, takes initiative when appropriate.
11. First point of contact for Clinic Managers and Medical Admin team.
12. Partners with Medical Practitioners and Clinic Managers to ensure medical staff is adhering to treatment standards and are fully executing the clinic’s programs.
13. Recognizes marketing opportunities in their local area and works with the Marketing Team to create Jack Nathan Health brand awareness that will help achieve goals.
14. Gives HR regular and consistent feedback on current staffing levels, employee performance, and reports gaps in services or scheduling.
15. Knows the appropriate Head Office support, for clinic needs such as: IT issues, payroll concerns, operations, and when to escalate to these departments.
16. Models the Jack Nathan Health® brand, values, and lifestyle and maintains a professional image at all times; sets high standards for self that is based upon competency model; builds an effective network within the company, across all clinics, and in the local market.

**COMPETENCIES**:
**MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION**
Has a deep understanding of OHIP and related platforms, uses background in physician management to identify needs within the clinics. Able to aid team in the training and usage of EMR’s, billings, and government health standards. Ensures clinics are adhering to patient confidentially standards and practices.

Recognizes problems and provides solutions, systematically gathers information, sorts through complex issues, seeks input from others, addresses root causes of issues, and resolves issues through creativity and break-through ideas.
**COMMUNICATION**
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, has a comprehensive knowledge of and is comfortable using medical terminology, shares information and ideas with others, actively listens to others, speaks respectively with physicians, clinic team members, head office, vendors and stakeholders, acts as first point of contact for those in the clinical environments.
