Introduction
We are seeking a Director, Circular Business to join our consumable business area (CNS) team. You will lead the CNS business area’s efforts in developing and implementing commercial models related to the recycling of materials to benefit both our customer’s as well as our internal operations. Your role plays a crucial part in create value by designing processes and business models that minimize waste and CO2 emissions to promote our mission of being “Your sustainable partner for wear solutionsIn this position, you will report to SVP, Integrated Service Solutions.
This position is mainly located in North or South America but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. // however, it involves up to 30% travel.

What you’ll do
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand the underlying drivers for circularity and sustainability.
Understanding the regulatory and legal requirements for recycling of materials in different jurisdictions.
Knowledge of customs duties and taxation related to trade and movement of recycled materials.
Create and maintain a roadmap with clear timelines and priorities.
Implement business models which includes co-operation with our supply chain to ensure that the needed back-end infrastructure and administrative procedures are in place.
Train and coach our market areas to promote the offering.
Create win plans together with the business and market areas.
Develop metrics and reporting capabilities that satisfy both internal and external requirements.
Who you are
Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Fluency in English, other languages seen as a plus.
Prior experience with sustainability and circularity advantageous but not necessary.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proven track record of working with customer interface.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Can do attitude and mindset.
