Job title: Analyst, FP&A & Data Insights
Department: Corporate Sales Canada
Work Location: Lachine, Quebec
Reports to: Director of FP&A
Travel: up to 10%
**Primary responsibilities**:
- Assist with the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets/forecasts, including variance analysis and cause-of-change explanations.
- Own and drive the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of all reports.
- Generate new insights and analyses to adapt to changing business conditions and present innovative ways of interpreting financial result.
- Automate and enhance forecasting and reporting processes using planning and reporting software.
- Profit Improvement/Continuous Improvement - develop customer & product profitability models and identify high value opportunities.
- P&L and ROI evaluation for investments.
- Develop interactive dashboards and self-service reporting using Power BI, integrating data from multiple sources.
- Market and current industry trends research.
- Establish processes to collect, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), driving the organization towards a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Provide detailed analysis to identify root causes of variances and address ad-hoc analysis requests from management and ownership
- Business partner and “go-to person” for sales leaders.
- Assist in special projects as needed at the direction of senior leadership
**Professional Skills/Qualifications**
1. Minimum level of education and/or specialization:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or Economics
- Minimum: 2-3 years in data-driven and market trend analysis/financial reporting

- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong autonomy and self-motivated.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing environment to meet aggressive deadlines.

- Ability to synthesize information and provide solutions.

- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- SAP and Microsoft Power Suite experience is a plus
