**Position**: Talent Acquisition Coordinator Internship

**Department**: Human Resources

**Reports to**: Human Resources Manager

This role is a fantastic entry level Human Resources role which will support the HR Team in its level of service to our business units in multiple companies. The successful Intern will enjoy a term of continuous learning in the field of Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment, retention, and employee culture/engagement.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Make recommendations for hiring and retention based on market data research
- Ensure all pre-employment testing is completed and any accommodations are reviewed and discussed
- Collaborate with hiring managers, safety team, and other stakeholders regarding the recruitment and retention process
- Participate in manpower planning and the human capital planning process
- Make recommendations for compensation adjustments and consistency to ensure both companies are being competitive in our labour market
- Provide excellent HR service to our current employees, participate in Human Resources and Safety team initiatives
- Support and participate in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and company culture strategy
