**About the Role**

Essity Health and Medical is looking for a strong Marketing Leader to lead a team of Brand and Activation Managers within LTC, Homecare and ACUTE Channels. (Incontinence, Woundcare, Vascular categories, orthopedics) accountable for developing and implementing marketing plan and activities to activate agreed global and/or BU marketing strategies and plans within a local market or Region.

**What You Will Do**
- Support delivery of local/regional financial targets by operationalizing BU marketing strategy (across Product Categories and Therapeutic Areas) in the local market or for a Product Category in a Region.
- Partner with Commercial leaders to set local market/regional priorities and A&P budget, ensuring maximum return on investment
- Lead, coach and develop the marketing organization in Canada in terms of structure, talent & capabilities
- Enable Marketing team to drive activation of BU marketing strategy by brand in a local market
- Secure local/regional market input and rollout to global brand strategies (innovation & assortment)
- Secure steering of brand and communications development as part of lead market model
- Develop, manage and implement marketing plan and activities for assigned brands in line with global and/or BU guidelines.
- Own alignment with local sales function to drive a full digital funnel approach and improve sales & marketing productivity, fully leveraging DME for scalable digital activities.
- Facilitate close and effective collaboration with global teams
- Manage key external stakeholders (e.g. Key opinion Leaders, industry associations and 3rd party vendors)
- Actively contribute as part of the local market leadership team or regional marketing team
- Travel up to 25% of the time

- Strategic thinking, team leadership, result-orientation, Customer-focused, Local Market knowledge, Omnichannel approach, Value creation & financial acumen, Collaboration & Influencing skills, Commercial & Business Acumen
- Strong leadership (direct and influencing), collaboration & communication (oral and presentation) skills
- Exposure and Prior responsibility for Canadian P&L
- Relevant Industry Experience
- Bi-lingual preferred (French & English)
