In this position, you will lead both the short-term and long-term strategic marketing responsibility for the Ostomy Care product lines within the Chronic Care Division. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, and across the organization, to implement marketing plans, develop and programs, and manage specific projects in support of brand management. You will ultimately be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing a strategic marketing plan that attracts and retains customers for the Ostomy Care business.
Major Areas of Accountability
Conduct regular product portfolio analysis and make recommendations on strategic and tactical plans to align with shifts/trends in the market
Maintain a solid understanding of the market by monitoring the competitive market, pricing, and reimbursement information, identifying trends or changes that will impact business, and recommending actions and contingency plans to maximize opportunities for Coloplast
Manage the development and execution of new product launches to help promote new business opportunities, growth, and financial profitability
Create and implement marketing programs and market develop initiatives targeted at key customers to grow the Canadian business
Drive the development of business strategies by capturing and mining market insight and translating it into actionable, differentiated programs
Proactively manage downstream product needs in support of Canadian marketing strategies and provide market assessments and sales expectations for upstream products to Global Marketing to prepare for future product launches
Develop product promotional materials to support product launches, campaigns, product education, and product commercialization materials, including packaging and labeling
Champion product commercialization activities across many businesses functional areas, including Executive Management, Global Marketing, Field Sales, National Accounts, Supply Chain, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Research & Development
Develop pricing strategy through analysis of internal and external variables impacting brand profitability Manage portfolio and SKU rationalization
Develop and support sales training and materials, clearly communicating objectives and recommended priorities to achieve sales growth
Manage distribution channel marketing initiatives, including product catalogs, press releases, and advertising schedules, as well as coordinates and implements industry tradeshows on an annual basis
Ensure all programs are aligned with Coloplast's vision, business objectives, and corporate brand
Work with the Consumer Marketing team to ensure downstream marketing strategy
**Essential Qualifications**:
BS/BA in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred
4+ years Marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare field
A willingness and ability to travel approximately 25-30% travel of the time (1-2 times International per year, 2 times per month national travel)
**Required knowledge, skills and abilities**:
Demonstrated ability to work across functions to prioritize and drive strategic objectives
Bilingual (English and French) with excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a strong sense of accountability
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with mínimal direction and make decisions with confidence Aptitude to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency required
