**Purpose**
Support the business lead and key external partner(s) with internal business lines and product teams to deliver Loyalty & Partnerships’ projects and improve overall loyalty program value to both customers & shareholders.
Reports into the Senior Manager, Partner Operations and contributes to the overall success of the Loyalty and Partnerships group / Canadian Banking in Canada delivering projects, providing a seamless customer experience, and ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
This position requires a self-starter with strong analytical and project management skills.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead end-to-end project execution & oversight from strategic planning to tactical activities - work closely with partners, technology teams and various stakeholders to evaluate possible solutions and determine the best way forward, obtain estimates, develop solutions, review detailed requirements, and question approaches, identify gaps, ensure alignment across partners, gain stakeholder approvals, keep projects on-track, and conduct business validation to ensure the project is successfully executed.
- Act as the business point of contact for Scene+ program partner(s) and build and maintain strong partner relationships for the duration of the project.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key partner(s) and stakeholders to ensure the flawless execution of projects. Includes regular liaising with partner(s), internal business lines, technology, corporate functions, and third-party vendors to meet strategic objectives and deliver on business & customer outcomes.
- Overall oversight and prioritization of multiple initiatives to ensure timely and effective delivery of L&P project(s) and results within budget.
- Manage project workstreams and coordinate cross-functional deliverables across all business lines including project updates & communications, tracking progress, driving action items, identifying risks/issues, escalations, and working with stakeholders to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and align on solutions.
- Support planning and new product development across business lines, partner(s), and vendor(s) including onboarding of new partner, integration of new & joint products into the Scene+ ecosystem and go-to-market initiatives.
- Map new processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures with internal & external stakeholders for new partner(s) with a focus on identifying opportunities for innovation to improve customer experience and/or implementing digital enabled solutions that will standardize, streamline, and save cost.
- Support product commercialization and develop & deploy operational strategy that aligns with business unit and Bank objectives.
- Provide recommendations and input into business and partner initiatives through competitive research, industry analysis, and partner assessments etc. to inform senior management on key findings and opportunities for driving business value where applicable
- Develop supporting decks/analysis to support business discussions and decisions and present as required to involved stakeholders
- Focus on project and business objectives with the ability to facilitate risk and issue management including documentation, socialization, and resolution in a timely manner
- Work closely with other Loyalty & Partnerships teams such as development & partnerships, liability management, financial operations, technology, customer operations, and portfolio management to be able to convey program and project priorities to other business lines.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.

**Education and Other Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant work experience, Graduate degree is a plus
- Experience with Canadian financial services, loyalty, and/or management of credit cards/rewards programs is an asset
