Office Administrative Assistant

Job Brief
As the office admin assistant you will be the first point of contact for the company and you will provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all administration tasks are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
**Responsibilities**:
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Answer, screen and forward all incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
- Expedite customer orders by contacting suppliers as to provide precise or estimated delivery dates for their orders.
- Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments - Review and enter customer orders as provided by the sales team
- Process sales orders accurately and promptly in our ERP system.
- Complement and support the sales department with customer-focused attention to new and existing clients.
- Create purchase orders and submit them to the respective supplier
- Process and create shipping and receiving documents
- Prepare customs documents for international shipments
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, and helping other departments with projects as required.
**Requirements**:
- Proven working experience in similar roles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Must present a professional appearance
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Resourceful and proactive demeanor in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organize, multitask, priorities and work under pressure
- High school diploma
- Team focused attitude
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
