We have a new opening for a Keying Coordinator to help us in our Keying Department. If you are a motivated self-starter who is organized, detail oriented and thrives on challenge, then this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.

**Main Purpose**:
**The Keying Coordinator is a multifaceted role that includes coordination of production/assembly, managing specialized machinery, and serving as a point of contact for the sales team.**

**Main tasks & responsibilities**

Keying Coordinator handles a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth daily operations of the keying activities and productivity. Their main tasks include maintaining records, supporting assembly line, and collaborating with departments for improvements. It also involves equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, quality control, and efficient inventory management.
- Assisting with the coordination of daily keying activities.
- Collecting data and maintaining accurate departmental records.
- Helping in training and supporting the assembly line team with the proper resource
- Providing inputs and reports that outline group productivity and workplace improvements.
- Maintaining a clean and organized department with proper communication through the different parties such has the sales and warehousing.
- Collaborate with all departments to come up with realistic and efficient timelines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on key cutting machine and laser engraver.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying the root causes of equipment failures and implementing effective solutions.
- Calibration: Ensure that mechanical systems and instruments are calibrated and perform accurately.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship.
- Inventory Management: Organize inventory to efficient location and easy count.

**Education Requirements**
- High school diploma (required)
- Vocational certificate or diploma in locksmithing or machine maintenance technician (preferred)

**Experience**
- 2 to 5 years of maintenance technician or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of locksmithing, key cutting, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of coordinating and organizing teams.

- Ability to multitask, delegate and prioritize.
- Mechanical aptitudes
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Team player and results-oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

**Physical Demands**
- Constant use of hands to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
- Repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and wrists.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
