**Position Title**: myFlex Account Executive
**Reports To**: VP Group Sales, Western Canada and myFlex Benefits
**Department**: Group
**Term**: Permanent Full-Time
**Location**: Ontario
myFlex Benefits is a unique and exciting product that enables small and medium sized businesses to offer their employees a defined contribution, cafeteria style benefits plan. It's the kind of flexible plan that used to only be available to large companies and is unique in the marketplace.

**What you will be doing**:
- Sell Equitable Life myFlex Benefits by using modern selling techniques and social selling
- Leverage the unique differentiators of our myFlex product in sales messaging
- Integrate our myFlex sales and marketing tools into various advisor distribution strategies
- Find and develop new, deep partnerships with advisors not yet working with Equitable Life
- Profitably manage and renew a successful block of inforce business
- Regularly meet with our advisor partners in person. Travel will be required
- Act as a go-to resource for sales strategies, marketing, product, and support for advisors
- Identify solutions and opportunities, even when they may deviate from what is requested by your clients/advisors, providing education and guidance as they navigate through the alternatives
- Proactively anticipate the needs of your clients/advisors, providing teaching, consultation, as well as exceeding their service expectations
- Achieve KPI’s including persistency and sales growth objectives
- Prepare and execute strategic business plans to identify specific opportunities and segment client contacts
- Take ownership of all aspects of the business development function of your business
- Conduct financial negotiations with clients and advisors to ensure the assigned block of business renews profitably each year
- Conduct finalist presentation and advisor/client presentations and seminars.
- Provide enrollment support at the client level (i.e. client enrollment and member education meetings
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing industry publications and establishing your professional network
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders
**What you will bring**:
- A passion for the group benefits industry with 2-5 years experience within the industry in various roles
- Previous AE and Sales experience is an asset
- To thrive in a fast-paced environment, you work well under pressure
- Knowledge of group benefit plan design; applicable financial and underwriting principles; and taxation rules as applied to group benefit plans
- To be ambitious and take initiative. As a remote position you’ll need the ability to thrive on your own while also collaborating effectively as a virtual team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Two-way communication: excellent active listening and ability to communicate in a way that is understandable according to your audience
- Polished presentation skills including virtual presentations and finalist meetings
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel within the territory and occasionally to head office is required
- GBA/CEBS Designation is an asset, must complete within two years of hire
