The Vice President of Operations for iA Dealer Services...
- Is responsible for the establishment, evolution and implementation of operational strategies related to the management and operation of national operations in support of the division's priorities, objectives and strategic plans.
- Supports the strategic positioning of the division by ensuring operational planning and goal setting to provide quality service to dealers and end clients.
- Is a member of the iA Dealer Services executive team and contributes to the development and execution of the business strategy.
- Participates in daily, weekly and monthly management meetings to run the business.
- Is responsible for the management and supervision of all national functions of the Brossard and Vancouver centers related to the administration of products and services offered to dealers and dealer groups and the customers they serve. This includes direct responsibility for the claims functions for all products offered by the division. As the operations centers are an important component of the division's profitability, the incumbent plans and monitors the profit and loss performance of the operations to realize efficiency gains.
- Is responsible for managing process optimization, continuous improvement and innovation.
- Is responsible to monitor regulatory requirements for impact to operations and develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Is responsible for the leadership and development of his/her management team, as well as the implementation of an appropriate management system to ensure the establishment and monitoring of performance objectives and targets, effective control of activities and quality of services provided.
- Also ensures that the sector manages its risks and complies with applicable legislation.

**The main responsibilities**
- Contribute, in collaboration with the Dealer Services Executive, to the development and evolution of the vision and direction, overall strategies and strategic objectives, and the development and monitoring of the division's strategic and financial plans.
- Provide leadership by prioritizing the competitive reality and business issues of the division by ensuring that the vision, directions and strategies address them.
- Lead the annual planning, implementation and monitoring of strategic business priorities, objectives and plans to support and maximize business development and growth and ensure customer experience and profitability.
- Provide leadership in strategic business development and organizational planning issues for major business decisions.
- Develop and monitor strategic performance measures and objectives that are consistent with planned strategic operational goals and plans and that meet the expectations and needs of dealers and dealer groups and the customers they serve.
- Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape, best practices and industry standards to assess trends and evolve the division's dealer support, customer service and claims handling practices.
- Determine the optimal business model based on the needs of the dealers and their customers by allocating the resources necessary to achieve the objectives and ensure the evolution of the model by anticipating these needs and ensuring that they are met.
- Ensure alignment with other areas of Dealer Services and iA Auto to achieve established strategic business plans and objectives, including communication of same including priorities, projects and obligations.
- Contributes to the design and preparation of short and long term operational plans and forecasts, to facilitate the annual budget process.
- Be responsible for the dealer services relationship with the regulatory authorities of the provinces in which the division operates. This responsibility may also involve direct contact with associations, government departments and key strategic customers in conjunction with the sales force.
- Develop policies and procedures for the entire division, ensuring compliance requirements and best practice standards are met or exceeded.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit procedures, including legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure development and synergy within the management team he/she supports by communicating a compelling vision for the division and operations and ensuring a common understanding of the vision, directions, strategies and goals.
- To create a work climate that encourages people to surpass themselves in favorable or unfavorable contexts, in order to encourage initiative and the surpassing of individuals and their respective teams.
