We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full time CORPORATE SALES MANAGER to join our team.

This position is responsible for developing new and existing accounts in both group and business transient segments and is a key contributor to the success of the hotel. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and in conjunction with Revenue and Marketing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Evaluate and qualify new incoming inquiries
- Prospect for new business opportunities
- Leverage relationships with existing accounts to obtain new business
- Develop a market strategy with targeted initiatives
- Client site inspections, presentations and entertainment as required
- Attend trade/consumer shows and industry events
- Conduct client meetings and follow-up
- Utilize database to record sales activities
- Maintain knowledge of the market including competitors
- Other duties as may be assigned

Qualficiations:

- Must be legally authorized to work full time hours (40 hours per week) in Canada
- Must have a minimum of 3-4 years proven sales experience in a full-service Hotel environment
- Must have strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize
- Must be able to clearly communicate in English in a professional manner
- Must be detail oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to achieve agreed upon sales targets
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment in an office setting
- Must have the ability to travel as required (domestic and international)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile as necessary
- Experience with Opera, Lightspeed and Marriott’s CI/TY program an asset
