National Sales Manager

National Retail Sales Manager directs the retail sales activities of the organization and drives the new sales business for the company playing a key role in the company’s bottom line.
Requirements of the Job:
- Experience in working with senior management in Retail Grocery/Manufacturing to align sales strategies and solutions
- Must have experience of working in a corporate/business focused environment
- Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
- Excellent managerial skills with personnel and business planning
- Strong computer skills and understanding of CRM systems
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
- Able to grow retail revenue and able integrate new acquisitions
Duties of the National Retail Sales Manager include:
- Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational national retail sales and Customer Relationship
- Developing, recommending and executing sound sales strategies to generate the cooperation and support from the trade
- Establish goals and can develop tactical plan to achieve them
- Developing product sales forecasts to achieve sales goals
- Creation of sales and implementation of merchandising
- Manage, mentor, train and coach sales
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development
- Take ownership of the management of the retail sales and marketing functions of the
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company's ambitious
- Working to stringent targets, adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business
- Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new
- Actively selling and negotiating national exclusivity/preferred vendor agreements within retail organizations such as major grocers and big box
- Planning and maintaining an effective broker sales organization
