**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Human Resources Administrative Assistant** to support our HR department. This role involves performing a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of HR functions while maintaining a positive and professional environment for staff and faculty.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing orientation materials, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Provide administrative support for HR processes such as performance appraisals, benefits enrollment, and policy updates.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare HR-related reports for management.
- Handle employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR personnel as needed.
- Assist with payroll preparation by organizing timesheets and tracking employee attendance, leave, and absences.
- Organize staff events, professional development sessions, and team-building activities to enhance employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR-related role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HR software is an asset.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices is preferred.
- A collaborative and positive attitude, with a passion for contributing to a dynamic educational environment.

**Position Details**:

- **Salary**: $45,000 per year
- **Location**: Able to travel to all GTA Locations (Brampton East, North York, and Downtown Toronto)
- **Hybrid**: 3 days in the office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 2 days remote
- **Work Hours**: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
