We are looking for an innovative and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to helping us become a leader in our industry. You will be responsible for full cycle recruiting and employer branding and have a sharp eye for talented people.
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will
- Be Responsible for full life-cycle recruitment for all career opportunities within S&C (manufacturing, engineering, leadership). This will be achieved by doing the following:
- Work with the Senior HR Business Partner to develop and implement strategies including talent mapping to achieve required staffing levels, including Campus and Summer Recruitment
- Perform pre-employment activities including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and drafting job offers
- Assist in providing training to leadership on recruiting best practices
- Provide meaningful metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategy and identify trends
- Collaborate with Global TA team to implement employment branding initiatives, including social media presence and partnering with academic institutions
- Support and perform other duties and projects as needed
- Post Secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources Management or Business
- 2 -5 years of experience in recruiting and human resources; some experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience recruiting for multiple roles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines
- Knowledge of employment standards and legislations
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications, Application Tracking Systems (Oracle), and various recruiting platforms i.e. LinkedIn and Indeed and
