We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team This role will primarily be responsible for preparation of sales bids and customer management. Additionally, this role will be sourcing, building, and maintaining strong relationships to increase sales and market share.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identifying and engaging potential clients; building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry; and working with existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Developing and implementing business development strategies to achieve growth objectives in the concrete/aggregate market
- Attend marketing and networking events to increase brand awareness
- Communicate with project general contractors, estimators, coordinators and clients
- Prepare initial quotes and pricing estimates
- Evaluating potential collaboration opportunities, and negotiating partnerships with industry stakeholders to drive innovation and sustainability
- Maintain and manage client data through a CRM software database
- Nurture client relationships and uncover opportunities for additional client support
- Support and communicate with internal and external vendors regarding projects
- Create and compile sales-related information, reporting, documents, and presentations
- Research markets and customers projects, provide recommendations on findings
- Learn technical product knowledge regarding a broad range of products and services

**Qualifications**:

- Valid drivers license
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- High degree of organization and time management skills
- Must have an analytical mindset and be able to interpret key performance indicators with the goal of identifying gaps in service or customer expectations.
- Preferably, college or university diploma, degree, or related education
- Prior experience in sales preferably within the construction industry

Hours of Work
Regular work week will be Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. There could be potential need for taking calls or attending events outside these defined hours.
