Our client in Southeast Edmonton is seeking a **Business Development & Sales Representative ** to join their dynamic team. This role directly reports to the CEO and is responsible for negotiating Multi Dwelling unit(MDU) contracts with property owners, Homeowners association and property management companies. These agreements will allow contractors and developers to install telecommunications cable and equipment in the Multi Dwelling Units(MDU) or Home owners association, extending to individual apartments and units.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- **Sales Development**:
- Demonstrate excellence in MDU sales development.
- Understand and implement key sales metrics for initiatives.
- Foster a high-energy culture within the organization to drive motivation.
- **Lead Generation**:
- Actively prospect and generate leads for new MDU opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals.
- **Collaboration and Strategy**:
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.
- **Market Awareness**:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent the company and generate leads.
- **Reporting and Forecasting**:
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales activities and outcomes.
- Enhance product knowledge, focusing on fiber services and technological advancements.
- **Must-Have Qualifications**_
- Proven success in a **quota-based sales role, consistently achieving sales targets** and driving business growth.
- **At least 2 years of previous experience in a Business to Business(B2B) Sales position, generating leads & cold calling**:
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in **sales CRM software** and other sales tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
- Self-motivated with a **strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for technology.**:
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area and attend events outside of it as necessary.
- **Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.**
- **Nice-to-Have Qualifications**_
- Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure, fiber internet services, or related technologies.
