Line Operator, Afternoon (B) Shift

**JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Participate in Tier 1 Meetings
- Participate in JTE & TPM initiatives
- Assist in resolving issues and escalate issues which cannot be resolved
- Help meet changeover standards and completing HACCP Checklists
- Follow processes as per procedures
- Perform all duties as a Line Operator/ Supply
- Make CI suggestions for line improvements
- Assist in training new employees as per Job Manual, and coach job skills when necessary.
- Flexible to work overtime, pre-shift, alternate shift, and weekends when needed.
- Other assignments as required

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- OSSD diploma or equivalent, and successful passing of basic qualification testing, including Mechanical where required
- Additional Education in a related field would be an asset
- Ability to upgrade current skill set through available internal and external educational opportunities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 60lbs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead a team to work safely, produce quality products, and achieve PR goals.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to substitute into different positions within the Packaging Department, as required.
- Ability to obtain Forklift certification required
- Knowledge of SAP
