Industrial Assembly Technician

Role Profile- Position: Production Specialist
- Job Location: London Ontario
- Status: Non-Exempt
This position involves various manufacturing or distribution tasks, including final processing of product, crimping, hose assembly, and cut cell activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct thorough quality checks on assembled hoses to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Operate mechanical equipment, hand tools, forklifts, and picking lifts safely and efficiently.
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in the assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members to address production challenges and enhance overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Fulfill production orders by selecting hoses and fittings according to specifications.
- Assemble fittings onto hoses before forwarding them to the crimp station.
- Crimp hoses to meet Pinpoint specifications in preparation for the final processing stage.
- Utilize scanning technology to record and track information at various points throughout the production process.
- 1-2 years of warehousing or production experience in an industrial setting preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in math skills, basic mechanical skills, and computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, internet, and email.
