TWD is currently looking for a **Human Resources Coordinator**, **Maternity Leave coverage** reporting to the Director of Human Resources. This position is based in Burlington, ON.
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all general HR inquiries ensuring a strong customer service focus.
- Assist in processing bi-weekly Canada and US payroll using ADP for TWD and its subsidiaries.
- Administer employee benefits programs including group benefits plan, RRSP and 401K programs, employee referral bonus program, wellness subsidy program and service awards program.
- Onboard new hires
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records both hard copy and digital in compliance with applicable legislation
- Maintain HR documentation and staff public records on the company intranet
- Produce and submit a variety of HR reports and employee documentation
- Conduct exit interviews and assist with processing separation documentation and offboarding
- Assist staff with the interpretation of human resources policies, compensation and benefit programs and employment agreements
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment and occupational health and safety legislation
- Assist the HR Business Partner and Director of HR with Special Projects
**Requirements and Qualifications**:
- Degree or diploma in a related field
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is an asset but not required
- 3+ years of related experience in Human Resources.
- Knowledge of and exposure to a range of human resources activities, including recruitment, orientation, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, and employee communications
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Familiarity with the use of applicant tracking systems (ADP familiarity is an asset)
- Exposure to processing payroll in both Canada and the US is an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated time management skills
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse and fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with tact and discretion
- Payroll experience (ADP preferred)
