We are currently looking for a **HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR** to join our **BURLINGTON **team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will support the HR team by carrying out the administrative tasks involved in the day-to-day operations of the HR department. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment

**Responsibilities**
- Act as the initial point of contact for any employee questions or concerns, providing support in a timely manner.
- Assist with and facilitate onboarding process for new employees, including but not limited to creating new hire packages and conducting orientation sessions.
- Coordinate and manage employee offboarding; assist with exit interviews.
- Administer employee benefits; enroll employees into program, maintain data within administration dashboard and support employees through the enrollment process.
- Maintain and update accurate employee records in Human Resources Information System (ADP), internal network and paper files.
- Assist with payroll processing by working with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure payroll records are accurate; support year-end payroll processes such as T4, tax reporting and other payroll related tasks.
- Prepare various internal HR documents including employee handbook, employee forms, employee contracts, employment verifications, company policies etc.
- Draft and send company announcements; update third-party providers on company changes.
- Participate in organizing, planning and delivering employee events.
- Coordinate required training for all staff (WHMIS, OHSA, etc.)
- Participate in the administration of the Health and Safety program.
- Support HR projects and new initiatives, including but not limited to Performance Management, Training and Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Employee Engagement
- Maintain confidentiality and a high degree of professionalism while handling sensitive HR matters
- Other duties as the situation dictates, or as assigned by Manager or designate.

**Physical Demands**
- Sedentary, office-based role that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Position requires sitting at desk ¾ or more of day, walking short distances for less than ¼ of day.
- Substantially repetitive movements of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Required to have visual acuity to perform activities including but not limited to analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer screen, extensive reading.

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field
- CHRP designation preferred, or actively working towards designation.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in a Human Resources role; experience in manufacturing environment considered an asset.
- Understanding of all applicable employment legislation including but not limited to Employment Standards Act, 2000, Ontario Human Rights Code, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- A computer literate individual who is proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite
- A detail-oriented individual with strong oral, written and verbal communication skills
- An emotionally intelligent individual that is confidently able to handle stressful and challenging situations
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and organization.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team-based environment with shifting priorities.
- This position requires travel between company locations; access to a vehicle required.
