**Position Title**:Manager, Strategic Partnerships

**Location**:City of Guelph and Wellington County

**Status**: Full-time

**Reports to**: Director, Community Engagement and Development

**Key relationships**:CEO, ReStore team, Communications and Administration Manager

**Works regularly with**:Donors, Corporate Partners, Strategic Partners, Affiliate Stakeholders and Staff

**Mission Statement**: To build and steward strategic partnerships in Guelph and Wellington County that support the Habitat for Humanity GW mission and build projects present and future
- About the Organization and the Resource Development Team:_

Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington works to create new opportunities for affordable home ownership - an important part of the housing continuum, and an important part of the solution to the current housing crisis. Habitat GW works to provide a hand up, not a hand out, to partner with families to create the opportunity for a safe and decent place to live. Over the coming 3-5 years, Habitat GW has ambitious goals for building throughout Guelph and Wellington County, with 2 projects currently underway, bringing homes to over 70 families. As a charitable organization, Habitat GW relies on partnerships, investment and donations from the community to bring these projects through to fruition. The Resource Development team works to engage the community, to communicate the Habitat mission, and to raise the funds we need to build homes and meet our ambitious goals.
- Expectations:_
- Position reports directly to the Director of Community Engagement and Development
- Position will include the necessity for in-person meetings, attendance at events and some evening and weekend work
- Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington does support a flexible in-person/remote work environment when possible, as timelines and deliverables permit
- Position will require the use of personal vehicle for attending occasional meetings with partners
- Some Saturdays required
- Represent Habitat professionally in all settings
- Duties:_
- Tracking leads of all kinds and scheduling replies and follow up
- Promoting/ securing third party fundraising relationships
- Market, promote and follow up on corporate partnership leads
- Event scheduling and logistics (build days, community bonds, fundraising, presentations)
- Content capturing, social media, photos, videos
- Provide feedback and insights into promotional materials, recognition packages and strategic communications in order to enhance the brand image, secure new partnerships and facilitate the build process
- Building connections with community groups

- PR, Non-Profits, Marketing
- Financial literacy - investments, mortgages, interest rates
- Demonstrated understanding of the Habitat for Humanity model for affordable home ownership
- Existing relationship with businesses in Guelph/ Wellington County considered an asset
- Targets:_
- This position is important to raising contributions from donors, corporate partners, Gifts in Kind, as well as stewarding existing relationships with ongoing partners.

Application:
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
