**Job Title**:
**Human Resources Assistant**

**Purpose of Role**:

- Provide support to the Human Resources team to ensure the effective operation of the Human Resources Department.

**Qualifications**:

- A diploma or certificate in Human Resources or related field considered an asset
- 1-2 years’ previous experience in a related role
- A positive approach with an interest in people and their diversity
- Attention to detail, solid organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Professional and personable manner
- Has a high degree of initiative with a proactive approach to work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
- Effective coordination skills, working with multiple people and schedules
- Strong time management skills and timely delivery of work

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides administrative support to the department
- Maintains employee personnel files
- Onboards new team members and continue to develop the firm’s Onboarding Program
- Prepares probationary review documents
- Generates reports from the time and billing system
- Maintains and updates Team Handbook and Orientation Manual
- Assists with the implementation of core HR programs, initiatives, and other projects as necessary
- Assists with the development of Health & Wellness initiatives
- Actively supports, participates and organizes firm wide initiatives
- Maintains team member’s confidentiality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
