About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver Archdiocese. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Superintendent's Office Leadership Team in achieving our mission to provide a high-quality education rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Human Resources Manager and the Associate Superintendent, Human Resources, in the effective operation of the CISVA.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings on external job boards and ensuring that teacher candidates have a completed application package prior to scheduling an interview.
  • Act as the main point of contact for teacher applicants and provide guidance through the application process.
  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Human Resources Management Team for core HR functions.
  • Offer direct assistance to the Associate Superintendent, Human Resources, and the Senior Human Resources Manager.
  • Foster and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders of the CISVA.
  • Assist with other projects or tasks in the Superintendent's Office as required.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in Human Resource Management and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent and relevant experience in HR.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Human Resource Information platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with proven ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to set priorities, adapt processes and procedures, manage multiple projects, analyze data, and prepare reports.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently with limited supervision, including working as a member of a team.
