Skeena Resources Limited is a Canadian exploration mining company, focused on working towards the restart of the past producing Eskay Creek gold-silver mine with additional development projects in our portfolio, all located in Tahltan Territory in the Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia, Canada. Eskay Creek was the highest-grade gold mine in the world when in production. The mine produced 3.3 million ounces of gold and 160 million ounces of silver at average grades of 45 g/t gold and 2,224 g/t silver from 1994-2008.

**Job Title: Human Resources Generalist**

Join our mighty HR team, where every day brings new challenges and exciting opportunities. We're seeking a passionate and driven individual to join us as our Human Resources Generalist, reporting directly to the VP of People & Culture.

As our HR Generalist, you'll be the driving force behind recruitment initiatives, onboarding, training programs, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience throughout their journey with us. From fostering positive relationships with managers and employees to championing diversity, equity and inclusion, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture.

**Responsibilities**
- Build strong partnerships with managers and employees to address HR needs and provide guidance on various HR matters.
- Provide guidance on policy interpretation, employee relations, payroll and benefits, performance process, training and development and workforce development.
- Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to plan and implement large scale recruitment campaigns for both the corporate office and the Eskay Creek site.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing and drafting employment agreements.
- Enhance our onboarding process to create a seamless and welcoming experience for new hires.
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Conduct investigations and make recommendations from findings.
- Leverage analytics and systems to drive insights and streamline HR processes.
- Keep up-to-date with HR trends and best practices to continually improve our practices.
- Implement and utilize new systems and technologies to streamline functions and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive cultural sensitivity and First Nations partnership training.
- Demonstrate respect and value for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion awareness throughout the organization.
- Use technology, be innovative and think outside the box to improve processes.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- 5 years of HR experience, with a keen interest in the mining industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and values teamwork and collaboration.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of employment legislation in British Columbia and Canada.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with HR systems like UKG (Kronos/Ultimate Software) and Sharepoint is a plus.
- CPHR designation is preferred.
