As a Field Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating operational activities in the field. You will be responsible for managing a team of field staff and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budgetary constraints. Your leadership and organizational skills will be pivotal in driving the success of our field operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise a team of field personnel including technicians, and contractors.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to field staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company standards.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate field operations to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and ensure projects are executed within budgetary limits.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new Technicians.
- Support Sales in potential business opportunities
- Quality document and record administration as per established QMS procedures.
- Commissioning of onsite of water, electricity, thermal energy metering installations.
- Verification inspections of metering installations as per VIP Quality Management System procedures and Measurement Canada standards.
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of required resources.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess work quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings, inspections, and incident investigations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding field operations.
- Address client concerns promptly and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project execution.
- Participate in company continuous improvement initiatives including identification of business gaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and resource utilization.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and challenges.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary education within electrical discipline with Diploma from recognized College/Technology Institution
- 3 years’ experience managing technical staff.
- Proven experience in field operations management, preferably in a related industry (e.g., construction, utilities)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Sound knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, and resource management.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
