We’re looking for a Business Development Director to take flight with us. This is an onsite position at our Mississauga facility.

**General Duties**:
Develops and maintains Quality Assurance Procedures at Field Aviation. The QAM is responsible for the quality management activities including equipment calibration, document control and audits and for the delivery of an effective Quality System.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Promote compliance with AS9100 and Canadian Air Regulations policies and standards.
- Develop, coordinate and maintain training in all areas of the Maintenance and Manufacturing Organization.
- Maintain oversight of Quality processes, including equipment calibration, documentation control related to the AMO and corrective action management.
- Review, amend and maintain the Manufacturing and Maintenance Policy Manual, Quality Assurance Procedures and QMSM.
- Report to the management committee on the performance of the quality system.
- Maintain and produce monthly On-Time Delivery and Quality Reports.
- Manage the internal or external audit program
- Promote the pursuit of continuous improvement.
- Lead, manage and develop the Quality System Management functions.
- Manage NCR, & MRB Reports for timely completion.
- Participate in SMS risk assessment meetings/reviews.
- Manage technical records for modifications and maintenance.
- Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude among team

members

**Skills and Experience**:

- Conversant with Canadian Aviation Regulations, esp.561 and 573
- Previous experience within an ISO 9001:2008 or preferably, AS9100 organization
- Minimum of six years’ experience in an Aircraft Maintenance environment
- Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) experience an asset

**Education**:

- Graduate from a recognized university or college in Aerospace or Aircraft Maintenance
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License an asset
- Successful completion of an Auditor Training Course

**Reports to**:VP Toronto Operations
