Medical Administrative Assistant

Supporting and assisting closely the Director of the clinic with various administrative tasks;
- Preparation and distribution of agenda and minutes before Quality Assurance meetings, monitoring training of the medical staff, scheduling maintenance of the medical equipments for two different clinics;
- Hiring, supervising volunteers for administrative work, and preparing contracts for volunteers for different roles;
- Creating or editing existing policies for both clinics to align with the best practice guidelines of MOH and CPSO;
- Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of administrative objectives;
- Coordinating the working process of the company departments by ensuring the deadlines are met and resolving any issue that may appear;
- Maintaining inventory of medical and office supplies by ensuring all the products are in stock;
- Other duties as required by the Clinic from time to time;
- This position is temporary to cover for a person who is leaving for maternity leave. There is a potential to get transferred to another position within the company after that.
**Skills & Qualification**:
- 2 to 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a busy medical environment
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration preferable
- Effective time-management skills with an ability to appropriately prioritize tasks
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively with other team members as well as ability to work independently
- Well-developed analytical skills, organizational and strong problem-resolution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle a diverse, complex, and ever-changing workload in fast-paced settings while meeting the needs of multiple staff members
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months
**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
