**_ As a Compensation and Benefits Manager, a typical day might include:_**
- Leading and managing the benefits and compensation team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Overseeing the end-to-end payroll process across Canada using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, including compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Collaborating with Finance and Accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and address discrepancies.
- Developing and managing comprehensive benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Conducting regular assessments of benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal standards.
- Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and compensation.
- Designing and implementing compensation structures that align with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
- Conducting market research to maintain competitiveness in compensation offerings and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Managing and overseeing salary reviews, bonuses, true-ups, promotions, and other compensation-related processes.
- Leading the integration of benefits and compensation programs for newly acquired entities.
- Collaborating with HR, Finance, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless addition of new employees to the payroll system.
- Evaluating and harmonizing benefits offerings to align with organizational standards and culture.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports regarding payroll, benefits, and compensation data.
- Conducting audits and analyses to identify areas for improvement in payroll and benefits processes.
- Fostering a positive workplace culture through effective communication of benefits and compensation programs.
- Working with our Life, Benefits and Wealth team on conduct training and information sessions for employees to enhance understanding of benefits offerings and payroll processes.
**_ Must Haves:_**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in benefits and compensation management, with specific experience in Canadian payroll.
- Proven management experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, particularly in integrating payroll and benefits systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
