Franchising and Real Estate Coordinator

In this 12-15 month contract role, the Franchising & Real Estate Coordinator provides franchising and real estate support to the Senior Director, Development and the Franchising Department. Responsible for all administrative support to the Western Canada Franchising Department. Leads Western Canada Franchising support relating to franchise agreement information (e.g. document information request, agreement dates, expirations, renewals). Also provides the Construction & Development department with support in areas of coordination of drawings, C&D manuals, pictures, etc.
**_ Duties & Responsibilities _**
- Assist the Senior Director, Development with sales presentations, site approval packages, initial phone inquiries, and follow up on initial leads and contacts.
- Manage the Franchisee Renewal Process including tracking sheet updates, initial internal notice initial external correspondence, updating shareholder and corporate records, document management, provincial disclosure requirement and CRM data base input. All coordinated with the BPI Legal Department.
- Assist the Re-Sale process by compiling the store data sheet and sales package drafts as well as co-ordinate prospective franchisee mail outs and follow up.
- Act as a PR representative for BPI for prospective Franchisee’s and clients, arranging on site tours and assisting with the coordination of the approval process.
- Assemble Franchise Information Sales Kits. Maintain and organize all sales package materials and inserts ensuring that they are accurate and updated.
- Monitor/track trigger dates pertaining to critical stages of the new and existing franchise documentation process. (New Stores, Renewals, Change of Control and Minor Transfers.)
- Provides all word processing requirements for the Franchise Department including any related clerical work, correspondence and required mailings.
- Assist department in coordination of department activities, share files, information/support flow and act as the in house franchise contact providing a greater marriage of information within the departments.
- Assisting in the assembling of site approval and sales packages, including site information/research and demographic studies, including special projects.
- Provides preliminary market research support by way of contacting economic development offices and local chambers to identify current developments, main industries, major employers and provide competitive analysis.
- Setup and coordinate all Franchising Trade Shows off site, including presentation/marketing materials, shipping/customs and booth requirements.
- Act as a conduit for franchising and leasing departments when they are traveling, ensuring availability to assist in their absence.
- Liaise with the Senior Director, Development and the Director of Construction to compile and publish the “Project Status Report” of franchises in inventory, franchises sold and store opening schedules.
- Assists Project Managers in areas required, new stores and renovations, etc.
- Acts as a conduit for the Construction & Business Development department when members are travelling, ensuring availability to assist in their absence.
- Assist the Director of Construction when required in the various area of the department’s responsibilities.
