Business Sales Manager

As a Business Sales Manager at GBS Technology, you will own sales execution, responsible for proactively building relationships within our small to medium business accounts. Your goal will be to support the current GBS Technologies accounts, focusing on technology solutions aligned to our client’s core business objectives. Services such as wireline, wireless, security, Business Connect along with IT Services all need to be addressed and explored within the client’s business strategies. We provide our customers a myriad of solutions including Mobility by TELUS, Wireline and Security products services by Telus.
This is an individually contributing sales position that requires a high activity of reaching out to multiple clients daily in a way of checking in, understanding customers needs and showing products that could help business day to day operations. We are seeking sales professional, who have a drive for customer service as the main role will be supporting and retraining the current base of clients.
**Experience**:
- Technical Business-to-Business (B2B) sales knowledge
- 2-5+ years of successful sales experience, IT, or telecommunications industry
- Excellent communication skills adapted to virtual type of sales.
- Ability to think and act strategically, including navigation through all levels of a client or prospect organization.
- Selecting and qualifying profitable opportunities
- Ability to deliver on growth and profitability.
- Evidence of selling and effectively managing customer relationships
- Sales experience blended with new business development.
- Experience with, or an affinity for, volunteerism and community involvement.
- Confidence and desire to make a target number of cold calls.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with Salesforce to log calls with GBS Technologies Business clients.
- Conduct retention calls with current GBS Technologies Business clients.
- Actively prospect and ask for referrals for potential small business solutions customers, 1-30 employees.
- Build trust, loyalty for the GBS Technologies brand.
- Conducts "needs analysis" for clients' wireless, wireline services & IT Services.
- Deliver the right solution for clients' evolving business requirements with prompt and efficient service.
- Own executive-level client relationships, strategic business planning and service delivery
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts, funnel hygiene, target/objective updates to deliver on all territory plans and team annual targets.
- Utilize client business plan to create account plans.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by leading the account team to drive real and long-standing business value.
- Work with technical team to ensure the solutions design is deliverable and will meet stakeholders as well as client needs.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, agreements, and supporting documentation as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent sales experience.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of business principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting
- Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- **Legally able to work in Canada.**
