**Position Overview**:
The Corporate Executive Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive and confidential executive administrative support to the President & CEO. The position also acts as the liaison to the Board of Directors and related committees and administers a variety of functions for the Board including document control/management, review and analysis, preparation of information for members and coordination of board projects and board appointment activities. The incumbent provides oversight for the effective operations of the Corporate Office functions as well as general direction to the Corporate Office Administrative Assistants.

**Experience**:

- Minimum five (5) years in a senior administrative assistant position preferably in the health care field.
- Specialized knowledge in Board of Governance procedures.
- Three years supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Successful completion of a recognized administrative, business or project management training program or the equivalent in education and experience.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Works within MHC’s core values, philosophy, vision, continuous quality improvement (CQI) goals, policies and procedures.
- Ability to function independently and as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Able.to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet identified deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with advanced skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately record, transcribe and produce formal meeting minutes.
- Must possess initiative to perform tasks in a professional and respectful manner with mínimal instruction with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Exercises a high degree of integrity and discretion at all times due to the confidential nature of the information dealt with on a daily basis.
- Typing speed of > 65 wpm.

The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services. Effective April 1, 2024, Golden West Centennial Lodge will also be part of the WRHA legal entity.
