About the Role
- RPS product managers own the entire product lifecycle from start to finish.
- They excel at the complex intersection of UX, Users, Clients, Engineering, Design, Development, Technology, Business, Marketing, and Sales you work with both internal and external stakeholders, effectively collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure superior outcomes.
- RPS product managers are responsible for creating and managing product roadmaps and releases, executing + managing product vision, understanding user and client needs, conducting market research and competitor capability analyses, anticipating and solving risks, evaluating and prioritizing ideas and features, managing risks, tracking and reporting results (including KPIs and ROI), and informing marketing strategies.
- Further key responsibilities include:
- Gather customer requirements, assess market demand.-
- Ideate and plan product enhancements to deliver enhanced market share.-
- Manage product budgets, some resource allocation.-
- Convert business needs into technical specifications for engineers to understand, create and maintain product documentation.-
- Create pilot programs / prototypes, determine and achieve success metrics, and assess outcomes.-
- Align product development with business goals.-
- Ensure customer satisfaction, perform stakeholder interviews and market assessments, gather client requirements, stay aware of changing technology and needs, make evidence-based decisions.-
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.-
- Prioritize product feature development, effectively communicate decisions to stakeholders.-
- Perform pricing and revenue modeling and analysis.-
- Ensuring timely completion of the product / feature development without cost overruns.-
- Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, develop forward-thinking system prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity.-
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with stakeholders for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.-
- Analyze customer needs and make them into requirements.-
- Effectively work with internal teams, including developers, engineers, QA, and operations.-
- Work with data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems.- About You
- Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent IT experience.-
- 3+ years’ experience as a product manager.-
- Working effectively with cross-functional teams.-
- Proven analytical abilities.-
- Expert at managing tight deadlines.-
- Ability to meet revenue targets.-
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior documentation acumen.-
- Five years of experience as an engineer or technical lead.- Preferred Qualifications- MBA-
- Demonstrable experience launching successful products.-
- Experience with RPS technologies used to develop products (Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, SQL, PowerBI, Python, R,.NET).-
- Demonstrable leadership abilities.-
- Adept at managing and maintaining relationships between multifunctional team members and stakeholders.
