**About Us**:

**Role**:
Reporting to the Deputy Minister, Public Service Commission and Public Service Commissioner, the Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Services and Public Agency Secretariat is accountable for the provision of strategic advice on employer driven policy and compensation, classification, and benefits related policy. The ADM will provide strategic advisory leadership, direction and coordination as Secretariat for Deputy Ministers’ Human Resource Integration Committee (DMHRIC) to ensure the effective utilization, allocation and deployment of resources within the Alberta Public Service. As a senior executive, the ADM holds key accountability as the Public Agency Secretariat, leading the development and implementation of consistent and transparent executive compensation, recruitment and governance frameworks for public Agencies, Boards and Commissions (ABC). The ADM will also oversee corporate service delivery (e.g. accommodations, FOIP, emergency planning and business planning) for the PSC along with workforce development and analytics for the department and across the enterprise.

Your career demonstrates expertise in strategy development, public policy design and coordination as well as complex program management. Not content with the status quo, you are committed to an innovative and forward-thinking approach to the evolution of work, and this has been demonstrated through previous successful change initiatives. A seasoned relationship builder, you are skilled in managing issues and working with diverse stakeholders to enable progress toward shared goals. Your record of agile leadership and ability to inspire and empower staff to achieve results will position you for success. A related degree and a background in human resources are preferred.

**Salary**:
$5,946.59-$7,804.21 Bi-weekly ($155,206 - $203,690 yearly) *Salary is currently under review.
