**Role**:
Reporting to the Deputy Minister, you will lead a diverse portfolio that advances growth of the arts sector and creative industries for Alberta, supports the sustainability of the non-profit/voluntary sector, invests in communities, and showcases cultural events. You will provide direction for the development and implementation of a broad range of programs, initiatives and services, and oversee financial supports to community organizations in alignment with Alberta’s cultural policy. With a focus on engagement and inclusion, you will collaborate closely with external stakeholders and leverage cross-ministry opportunities to provide critical services to communities. You will be accountable for developing and promoting cultural industries as an economic driver for Alberta, as well as working to ensure the sustainability of the non-profit and voluntary sectors.

**Qualifications**:
This role requires an influential and credible leader with extensive and varied executive management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You bring strengths in leading programs, operations and public policy development in a large organization with the ability to influence innovative outcomes. You have a background in grant management and are recognized for working effectively with stakeholders on initiatives in dynamic environments. Your reputation for empowering teams and capacity for facilitating change will support your success. A related degree is preferred.

**Salary**:
$5,946.59 - $7,804.23 bi-weekly ($155,206 - $203,690 yearly)
