The Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of administrative services to the business reporting to the VP/GM, while supporting the Maritime Canada Senior Leadership Team, and working in collaboration with the Administrative Services Manager.

Nationality Requirements

**Job Description**:

- Front desk responsibilities & day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to the following: managing detailed business and personal calendars, meetings, and logistics, handling communications, preparing materials, and setting up company activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the business (including GM/VP & SLT) and other functions as directed by the VP/GM.
- Provide administrative support to Company Security Officer/Administrative Services Manager.
- Coordinate regional and international travel arrangements.
- Coordinate event planning, on-site catering and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
- Manage office supply orders and associated documentation.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma with proven experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Completion of a relevant certificate or college program considered an asset.
- Experience in a fast-paced administrative role where the work involved multitasking and flexibility.
- Excellent PC skills (Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Visio) and the ability to learn and use new software and systems easily is essential for the role.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Technical background would be considered an asset.
- Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
- This position will be required to work primarily on site but may come with some degree of a flexible working option.
