**PROJECT/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER**

Denver Property Restoration is looking to hire a new member to our team. We are a 24-hour emergency response company, with our focus on the restoration of fire, flood, wind damage, sewer backups and site remediation to properties within Winnipeg and remote communities. We pride ourselves on helping to restore a home or business to its pre-loss condition and strive to maintain a reputation for excellent work and customer service.

We are looking for a customer-focused, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn and grow. As the Project/Business Development Manager, you will be required to produce sales, responsible for setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth, compiling documentation on work required, providing inspection reports and quotes to complete projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate business opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Complete initial site visit at time of emergency:

- Obtain customer sign off - Work Authorization.
- Initial site photos.
- Complete sketch of affected area.
- Complete emergency scope of work.
- Job hazard assessment.
- Identifies if Content processing is required.
- Identifies if Asbestos sampling is required.
- Complete secondary site visit in order to complete quote for repairs:

- After emergency completion site photos
- Complete rebuild scope of work
- Complete initial work orders for emergency services.
- Reviews and approves change orders.
- Provides and monitors customer satisfaction. Resolves disputes and complaints, as required.
- Complies project estimates encompassing all work required for the project, based on our in-house estimating program, Xactimate.
- Arranges sign off on Certificate of Completion, and Warranty Certificate is provided to the client.
- Build rapport with external stakeholders, generates new leads.
- Completes weekly file review with Rebuild Coordinator.
- Obtains and negotiates quotes from subcontractors.
- Attends sites on regular basis - exposure to hazardous environment and conditions.
- Exposure to cleaning products and chemicals used in the deodorizing and sanitizing of contents and building structures.
- Ensure Company, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are being followed.
- Support and participate in continuous improvements in skills and training.
- Participates in workshops and seminars to stay ahead of the industry standards.
- Attends industry functions.
- Reviews approved estimated files to ensure all documentation is complete and ready for Construction Manager.
- Additional duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- The role requires at least 5 years of experience with Restoration.
- IICRC related certification.
- Detailed understanding of construction practices for residential and commercial properties.
- Knowledge of building codes; electrical, plumbing, or mechanical and related codes.
- Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction.
- Must be physically fit, lift equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers), able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Must have a valid Manitoba drivers’ license and be able to provide criminal background and child abuse register check.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, on call hour rotation (evening and weekend rotation), overtime, and able to travel for out-of-town work as determined by business necessity.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Finding new growth opportunities and helping company expand by forming partnerships that open up new markets
- Computer skills - MS Office, Outlook, DASH, Xactimate. Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment.
- Practical knowledge and safe operation of equipment and power tools.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Communication and interpersonal and negotiation skills

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
