**Your Role**

As a Project Manager with the Manitoba business unit, you will join a team of experts leading major infrastructure projects throughout Manitoba. Within the business unit you will contribute in advancing the accessibility and efficiency of services, and reduction of carbon and greenhouse gases by large bodies of authority in the province. Your role will assist communities by fostering economic development, reducing carbon and greenhouse gas emissions, and providing environmental stewardship.

We have multiple projects scheduled for the upcoming year and are seeking several Project Managers to support and collaborate. Don't hesitate to apply, even if you don't match every skill requirement

**Responsibilities**:

- Bring your technical and business leadership
- Provide leadership that enables successful project delivery for ongoing maintenance and operation, utility production, office operations, industrial storage, and fleet operation projects
- Develop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives
- Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects while ensuring the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical challenges
- Lead clients through the set-up, initiation, execution, monitoring and reporting of their projects
- Ensure smooth project delivery: review and adhere to your client's delivery procedures while understanding and successfully delivering projects within a single or multi-fiscal year cycle
- Perform schedule updates, maintaining project controls, developing progress reports and preparing tender and contract documents
- Chair project and site meetings, finding resolutions and coordinating between multiple stakeholders
- Ensure that project activities are conducted in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System

Qualifications:

- A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management or project management (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
- 5 to 8 years of experience representing owners to multiple stakeholders to deliver civil infrastructure projects of varying size and scope
- Self-motivation, initiative and an eagerness to learn and contribute to meeting project deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Detail orientation, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines and client expectations
- Familiarity with a governmental project delivery environment, which includes municipal, provincial, federal, crown corporations or a utility provider would be considered an asset
- Experience in power generation or backup power, including utility generating equipment, backup generators, and alternative measures like battery backup, would be valuable
- Knowledge in fiscal year project planning: fiscal year cycles and projecting project costs over/within fiscal years
- PMP accreditation would be an asset
