Bookkeeper/office Manager

**Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel
- Sound knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- A college diploma and completion of accounting courses preferred
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable cycles
**Responsibilities**:
**Bookkeeping and Accounting Tasks**:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile rental deposits, ensuring alignment with bank records
- Prepare financial reports and summaries
- Reconcile prepaid expense accounts on the balance sheet
**Office Operations Management**:
- Supervise daily operations to ensure office efficiency
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Handle administrative tasks such as correspondence and filing
**Communication and Coordination**:
- Serve as a liaison between owners and the management team
- Facilitate effective communication within the office and with clients/vendors
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
