**Position: Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator**

**Job Summary**:As an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, guiding them through their orthodontic journey with warmth and professionalism. Your excellent communication skills and dental knowledge will be vital in providing accurate information, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a seamless treatment process. You will work closely with our orthodontists and support staff to deliver outstanding care and foster a positive, welcoming environment for all our patients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they step into our clinic.
- Conduct initial consultations and assessments for new patients, gathering relevant medical and dental history information.
- Explain various orthodontic treatment options to patients, outlining the benefits and expected outcomes of each.
- Collaborate with orthodontists to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Provide detailed explanations of treatment costs, insurance coverage, and available payment plans, ensuring patients are informed about financial aspects.
- Schedule appointments and follow-ups, optimizing clinic efficiency and ensuring timely treatment progress.
- Assist patients in completing necessary paperwork and obtaining required documentation for insurance purposes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our dental management system.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and care instructions for their braces or aligners.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Coordinate with dental suppliers and labs to ensure the timely delivery of orthodontic appliances and materials.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in orthodontic care to provide informed guidance to patients.

**Requirements**:

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients of all ages.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and appointment scheduling.
- Proficiency in dental management software or the willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Knowledge of orthodontic terminology, procedures, and common treatments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a courteous and professional demeanour.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with orthodontists and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
