Toronto, Canada The Elusive Fox Inc. Full time

Our client, a full-service business law firm, is on the hunt for an experienced Litigation Law Clerk/Legal Assistant to assist a Partner and an Associate with their busy litigation practices. **What you will be doing:  **
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to lawyers, including opening and closing files, drafting routine correspondence, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, etc. 
- Assist with the preparation, filing, and service of legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits of documents, factums, motion records, summonses, etc. 
- Assist with trial preparation and examination for discovery.
- Organize and maintain files and documents, both electronically and in hard copy. 
- Track critical dates and initiate follow-up action as required.
- Liaise with clients, lawyers, court personnel, and external parties as required. 
- Assist with docketing and invoicing processes. 

**What you will bring to the position: **
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience gained as a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant in Litigation. 
- Completion of a post-secondary Law Clerk or Legal Assistant program. 
- Solid knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure. 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal software such as CaseLines, Prolaw, etc. 
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.  
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Toronto, ON M5G 2C2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
