**The Role**

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Technical Analyst is responsible for effective and secure provisioning of cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and on-premise hardware and software and related infrastructure. As well as the support of back office systems and the Microsoft Azure Environment as assigned. This role requires skills in customer service, scripting, procedure writing, troubleshooting, and configuration.

**Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities**

**_ On Premise Server/Storage Infrastructure:_**
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with technical and security standards; and project/operational requirements
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
- Contribute to and maintain system standards
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
- Monitor systems for error conditions and correct as needed
- Perform hardware Lifecyle management
- Maintain patch levels on all Operation Systems and Applications
- Track, resolve, and document root causes of technical problems

Disaster Recovery:_**
- Research/Recommend systems for Disaster Recovery and Backup
- Install, Configure and Maintain the Disaster Recovery System
- Install, Configure and Maintain all Backup systems
- Test Backup’s on a scheduled basis
- Test Disaster Recovery on a yearly basis
- Monitor systems for error conditions and correct as needed
- Perform Lifecyle management
- Maintain patch levels on all Disaster and Backup Systems

**_
Cloud Infrastructure:_**
- Install new / rebuild existing SaaS, IaaS, PaaS servers and services in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
- Maintain the health of the Azure Active Directory
- Develop and Maintain Log Analytic workspaces as needed
- Monitor Cloud environment with Monitor and visualization Metrics, Query and Analyze Logs and Setup Alert & Actions
- Contribute to and maintain system standards
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
- Monitor systems for error conditions and correct as needed
- Maintain patch levels on all Operation Systems and Applications
- Track, resolve, and document root causes of user technical problems

PowerShell Scripting:_**
- Develop PowerShell scripts as needed
- Manage PowerShell development environment and version control.
- _ Back Office Systems:_
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MDM Systems
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Meeting Room Access solutions

**_ Other related duties:_**
- Maintain the IT Server Room Area as assigned
- Maintain the IT UPS System as assigned
- Provide backup coverage for the SharePoint/Technical Analyst executing documented procedures.
- Provide supplemental coverage processing Service Tickets

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a combination of Computer Technology Diploma & experience will be considered
- Minimum of two years related progressive experience working in this discipline
- ITIL Foundations 4.0
