**What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- Using bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and software
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Receiving and recording of cash and cheques
- Producing a variety of reports including invoices and HST report
- Checking for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings
- Managing transactions for cash and cheques with banks
- Interacting with management, customers, and vendors
- Keeping record of all financial transactions and organizing it
**What you need to succeed in this role**:
**At a minimum, you’ll need**:
- 3 years of related accounting work experience.
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills.
- A solid book of contacts in the industry.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
